FEBRUARY NEWS
February Birthdays
Jalyn - 9th - 5 years old

Ages 2 and Up - Preschool Themes for this month will be
*Valentines and Presidents*
Show and Tell every Friday for preschool ages 2 and up.
3 and 4 year olds will be working on The National Anthem and some presidential facts. We will also continue our handwriting, which they are doing great at, and we will start working on a few sight words.
2 year olds working hard on the Pledge of Allegiance and will continue to work on proper pencil techniques and name recognition. We will also continue work on colors, shapes and numbers.

Friday, February 5 - We will talk about teeth and going to the dentist.
Friday, February 12 -We will have our Valentines Party this day! (Bring valentines for kids in your class)
Friday, February 19 - We will talk about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Friday, February 26 - We will talk about the Winter Olympics. (Snowboarding, skiing, ice-skating, ice hockey.

January Newsletter
Welcome to the new year 2010! Hope you all had a wonderful and joyous Christmas!
We are ready for the new year and hope you are too. We are looking forward to a great new year and have many plans to enhance the childrens experience here at Cotten
Candy Kids. We have alot of new ideas and plans that we hope to implement during this year. We strive to maintain the best childcare with a fun learning experience to help the children start off on healthy and rewarding life.
Here is our January newsletter:
Ages 2 and up - preschool theme for this month will be "Sea Life"
"Show and Tell" every Friday for ages 2 and up
3 and 4 year olds will start working on "The National Anthem" to add to our collection of memorization. (Pledge of Allegiance, My Country Tis of Thee, and
the Lord's Prayer.)

Friday, January 8 - Learning about penguins. We will watch "Happy Feet"
Friday, January 15 - Sea life (pictures, stuffed animals or books to talk about)
Friday, January 22 - Birthday Party Friday! Bring your favorite toy.
Friday, January 29 - Bring something to count. (noodles, pennies, etc.) We will share and make art with the items.
