January Newsletter
Welcome to the new year 2010! Hope you all had a wonderful and joyous Christmas!
We are ready for the new year and hope you are too. We are looking forward to a great new year and have many plans to enhance the childrens experience here at Cotten
Candy Kids. We have alot of new ideas and plans that we hope to implement during this year. We strive to maintain the best childcare with a fun learning experience to help the children start off on healthy and rewarding life.
Here is our January newsletter:
Ages 2 and up - preschool theme for this month will be "Sea Life"
"Show and Tell" every Friday for ages 2 and up
3 and 4 year olds will start working on "The National Anthem" to add to our collection of memorization. (Pledge of Allegiance, My Country Tis of Thee, and
the Lord's Prayer.)
2 year olds are working hard on the "Pledge of Allegiance" and and will continue to work on proper pencil techniques and name recognition.
Show and Tell Topics
(If at all possible, please send show and tell with your child so they do not feel left out.)
Friday, January 8 - Learning about penguins. We will watch "Happy Feet"
Friday, January 15 - Sea life (pictures, stuffed animals or books to talk about)
Friday, January 22 - Birthday Party Friday! Bring your favorite toy.
Friday, January 29 - Bring something to count. (noodles, pennies, etc.) We will share and make art with the items.
